8810 gelcoat is a UV resistant Polyaspartic based polyurea system, designed for use with either hand layup (HLU) or vacuum infusion processing (VIP) composites. Depending on the application the 8810 gelcoat may be used for either as a gelcoat direct to mould or applied as protective coating once the article is de-moulded. 8810 gelcoat exhibits long potlife with short drying times. When used as a gelcoat direct to mould, careful selection is required to tie layer for elimination of print though.
